Portrait of me, wearing a light blue collared shirt and matching bow tie with a black sweater vest. I have gray hair and dark eyes and eyebrows. I'm standing in a dark hallway with one arm across my belly gripping my other arm, which is hanging straight down. To my right are some books on a shelf.

I live in Ithaca, New York, where I write, bind books, and work as a production editor at Cornell University Press. My forthcoming debut novel Endpapers won a grant from the Barbara Deming Memorial Foundation and was selected as a finalist for the SFWP Literary Awards Program and the James Jones First Novel Fellowship.

My short work has been published in Hobart, Black Warrior Review, and elsewhere.
